š LayerFS has reached 100 GitHub Stars! First, a huge thank-you to everyone on X for the support. I havenāt had the chance to meet many of you yet properly, so letās connect! Iām also especially grateful to everyone on X and in our community groups who has shared feedback and suggestions. Several ideas around algorithms and data structures have been genuinely helpfulānot only in solving the immediate problems, but also in opening up new directions for the architecture. Here is what comes next on the roadmap: During the v0.1 phase, weāll continue strengthening the benchmark design and optimizing against real measurements. We also plan to compare LayerFS with Cloudflare Computer and AgentFS under workloads that are as consistent as possible, covering end-to-end execution time, storage growth, and data-reuse efficiency. We expect to complete the first round of experiments within a week and publish the test conditions, raw data, and analysis. The goal is not to win a benchmarkāit is to establish an evaluation baseline that is reproducible, transparent, and open to discussion. The v0.2 phase will begin focusing on productization and the Agent Workspace experience. Important topics include Branch, Merge, and Commit policies, conflict handling, failure recovery, and collaboration across multiple agents working in parallel. Over the next couple of days, weāll open several GitHub Discussions to plan v0.2 together with the community. If youāre working on coding agents, agent runtimes, parallel rollouts, filesystems, or storage infrastructure, weād love for you to join the discussion, open an issue, share real-world workloads, or contribute directly. LayerFS is just getting started. Iām looking forward to building it together with more of you. ā https://t.co/hwcUUBzPO4
