Founder in Singapore.
Note to self: it is very critical that you meet up with professionals that form your network when building startups. You get to see where your vision breaks, the gaps you’ve not yet thought about, and the opportunities ahead of you, that you have never thought about capitalising on. Insights are what make startups work. You can “guess” and produce some theoretical ones yourself, but they ALWAYS need to be validated by other people! To be a founder, you HAVE to be socially present. Or you will be a delulu, with no solulu, and have 0 paying customers. Genuinely, to wire your brain for business and startup life, you have to be in the game for long enough till everything clicks at rapid pace. The more I build my own projects the more respect I have for people who achieve major successes starting from nothing. It takes a lot of being wrong, listening to others, gathering the right people, and building on a vision like no other. Curious if anyone else has realised this! If you’re a startup founder yourself , lets connect .. :)
