I'm 39, originally from Turkey. My career path makes almost no sense. I studied marine engineering. Then I quit engineering and built İnci Sözlük — one of Turkey’s wildest social platforms. Along the way, we helped create an entire local internet meme culture called “caps.” Then I built an advertising agency. Sold my businesses. Moved to America. And started from zero again. In the U.S., I went in the opposite direction of tech. Used car dealership. Contracting. Automotive businesses. Even firearms importing. Very physical businesses. Then AI happened. And somehow, after years away, I found myself building on the internet again. Today we’re building things like: https://t.co/Oeplo7SpSz — septic service lead generation https://t.co/205k4cxqy8 — mobile auto glass https://t.co/uX1n1TVAN3 — stump grinding leads https://t.co/n6iN3wgNuA — car acquisition https://t.co/3JneuU5zDh — software for used car dealers The big difference this time? You don’t need a 10-person tech team to test an idea anymore. AI + automation + vibe coding gives one person an absurd amount of leverage. So I’m back building weird internet businesses again. Looking to connect with builders, indie hackers, AI founders and people with similarly non-linear paths.
