Let's connect on this; I promise it will be compelling and worthwhile for us both! Gary, I just listened to your Mel Robbins interview with my wife. It provided great affirmation . At 58, I am very grateful of my 31 yr marriage and three grown daughters who are on their paths in their careers. After building companies for 31+ years (the past 21 in franchising after a decade in tech with Cisco Systems and HP) as their Chief Growth Officer, I have recently become entrepreneurial. It started in 2023 by helping create the indoor pickleball category. I interviewed the founders of all three emerging franchisors in the space, and was excited to join The Picklr. In a little over two years, we sold 500+ clubs throughout the US and I sold single Master rights in Canada, Australia, New Zealand. and Japan. I then became a large multi- unit franchisee in NJ and Long Island with my business partner. With two locations open and doing well, we subsequently are doubling down and looking to sign a 30-unit deal to control the entire northeast from ME to DE. As a NJ guy, I have been following you for many years. Now, your words of wisdom have been put into action, so much so that I am writing a book that really touches upon a lot of what you spoke about on the Mel podcast. Now, we are in the midst of a capital raise to accelerate our Picklr growth. There are great things around the corner with The Picklr that my business partner and I would be happy to share with you. BTW- congrats on the Jersey Fives win and bringing home the trophy!! We have an excellent data room and compelling business model/ proforma that our investors see real value in. What most excites me about growing the best indoor pickleball clubs throughout the northeast is that when we stand one up, we build that third place; a real community for hundreds of members. The vehicle may be pickleball, but the outcome is a desirable, community based facility to play, compete, socialize, and inspire. ..the world needs more of this!
