As a female founder, let me talk about the parts people don't see Especially being in a male-dominated field Most of my founder friends are guys There's a way they act There's a way they speak They're not as expressive as me They don't wear their heart on their sleeves the way I do At some point, I thought it was a weakness Like if I don't show certain sides of myself... That if I act all tough... Speak the way they do and act the way they act, I would shine But it didn't work If anything, it drained me It made me so sensitive about what I posted, what I post about, how I look to other people But who said I have to be that way to be taken seriously? I am ME And they are them They can't be like me And I can't be like them So to myself and every (female) founder out there (especially in a male-dominated field), BE YOU Because you are beYOUtiful 🥰 Stop feeling like you're not enough ('Cause Heaven knows with God, you are) Be yourself Build your company (Shout-out to my baby, @yfe_embedded) Just because you are feminine and expressive doesn't mean you're less of a Founder The right people for you will find you 🩵 And with the right mindset, strategy, and business plan, your company will thrive I promise you that You've got this Love your engineering Big Sister, - Princess 👑
