Solo maker in United States.
3 weeks ago I started building two things in parallel: → openclaude that routes through any LLM provider (OpenAI, Groq, Mistral, Ollama) → a real product, built entirely inside it Tonight, both ship. Meet PolyForge vibe-to-prediction-market on Base. Type a yes/no question. Pick a vibe. Get a fully deployed prediction market on Base in under 3 minutes. AI drafts the resolution criteria. The market deploys via CPMM. Onchain Summer aesthetic across every page. Built for Base Batches 004 hackathon. ~16 stages. ~50 commits. 108 passing contract tests. The stack: - Next.js 15 + TypeScript strict + Tailwind - wagmi v3 + viem + RainbowKit + Coinbase Smart Wallet - Foundry contracts (CPMM market + factory + UMA-style oracle) - OpenAI GPT-4o for resolution criteria drafting - Coinbase Paymaster for gasless onboarding (first 5 txs sponsored) - Basenames everywhere addresses are shown - Farcaster Frames v2 (in-cast transactions coming this week) What I learned building it: 1) AI dev tools shorten the gap between "I have an idea" and "it's deployed." I went from concept to a real shipping product in 3 weeks while also maintaining openclaude. That's not normal. The bottleneck is now design taste and product judgment, not raw coding throughput. 2) Vibes are an underused product primitive. Every prediction market platform looks the same — clinical, gray, dense. PolyForge has 6 distinct visual moods (cyberpunk, minimal, degen, zen, retro, brutalist). The vibe is part of the market's identity. People remember markets by their aesthetic. 3) The "Onchain Summer" design language carries hard. Postcard-style cards, polaroid market thumbnails, beach-signage typography. Every page feels like part of the same world. 4) Coinbase Smart Wallet + Paymaster is genuinely magical for onboarding. New users deploy their first market with zero gas. They don't even know they're transacting. The friction drop is enormous. 5) Building in public is the highest-ROI move for solo devs. Every day shipping → every day a new screenshot to post → every day audience grows. Compound interest on attention. The meta-story: openclaude is the dev tool I built when I needed something that wasn't tied to a single provider. PolyForge is the first real product I shipped using it. Two open-source projects, one workflow, three weeks. Live URL drops tomorrow. Frames go live this week. If you're building on Base or building anything with AI tooling let's talk. openclaude: https://t.co/4y8AvD4SaQ PolyForge: https://t.co/8fwanRVhIq (private until Batches submission) Built by @0x_art on Twitter, @gnanam on Farcaster. @base @gitlawb @kevincodex
