Hi X! I just wanted to hop on and introduce myself. My name is Loc and I'm a rising junior at Princeton majoring in ORFE (applied math). I'm going to start building in public here, and wanted to share three things I have on my plate for this summer. I want to share the messy version of each one, not just the highlight reel. 1. I'm going to be working on Conifer, an open source runtime for local ai. Setup, quantization, memory layout, scheduling, all the boring infrastructure stuff that's been broken forever. M&A at Mirae Asset Securities in Seoul (#1 Investment Bank in South Korea by market cap). I would be learning how deals actually get done from inside the room. 3. I'm currently leading 'building the brain' at Lambent Data. The rules engine for vaintage pathways, an ai overlay shipping to 80+ medication-assisted treatment clinics.
