you're not a real founder if you've never stayed up all night working on your startup. My name is Aidar, I'm 16 years old, a solo founder from Kazakhstan building Clipr. This is my 10th all nighter working on my startup. Not in a row haha. Exactly one year ago I randomly went to the nFactorial Incubator Demo Day. That day I promised myself that one day I would get in on a full scholarship. I wasn't born into a rich family but not a poor one either. Money was always a problem though. My parents couldn't always give me the things other kids had, because of our debts and other financial problems. I never complained because I thought it was normal. Until I realized it doesn't have to be this way. In just 10 months I learned startups by myself, built 7 projects, won a few hackathons and reached my first big goal. I got into nFactorial Incubator with a full scholarship. Now I've finished building Clipr, a tool that automates video content creation. https://t.co/oyz9caBw5x But recently I realized something. We're all trying to sell our product, get users, raise money and grow. But maybe the most important thing we should sell is ourselves. This year I got into one of the strongest startup incubators in Central Asia, met so many amazing founders and most importantly I stayed hungry. Hungry to build. Hungry to learn. Hungry to become better. People invest in founders before they invest in products. If nobody knows who's behind the startup it's easy to stay invisible.
