On a panel earlier this year I was asked why I'm so bullish on #AIagents.
The room's reaction was between "is he serious?" or "is he insane?" ๐คจ
Here is what I said.
At the start of the year I moved most of my work onto AI agents.
OpenClaw first, then Hermes, Grokbot and a few frameworks I built myself.
Not as a side experiment. As the way I work.
Behind that was one uncomfortable question I couldn't get rid of.
I work in digital business models. AI already outperforms me in a growing number of areas, at least on speed, and it gets better every month.

Why shouldn't it be possible to build a company that is run by AI agents, that more or less operates itself, and where ๐บ๐ ๐ท๐ผ๐ฏ ๐ถ๐ ๐๐ผ ๐ผ๐๐ป ๐ถ๐?
That question is one of the driving forces behind https://t.co/E7dGtU2kTL
I said it out loud, on stage, to a room full of people whose job descriptions assume the opposite.
That means: I'm not bullish because agents are a nice productivity feature.
I'm bullish because I have bet my own company on the answer.
Where does it stand today?
Agents support me with nearly everything I do: Running @SplitMetrics Agency, an international mobile growth agency, where they take over the research, analysis and preparation so I have more time for our clients and our team. Building and marketing my own apps. Advising companies on where to start with agents. And running a fully automated trading desk in my own lab.
Compare how I worked a year ago with how I work now and there is no comparison.
My honest estimate is at least ten times the output, and I was already a heavy AI user before.
Now the part you don't hear in the keynote version.

Everyone in my peer group who has understood what agentic AI does says the same.
We all see a window that is open now and will not stay open, and nobody wants to be the one who watched it close.
Am I where I want to be?
No. I gave my agents an explicit mission: make me significantly wealthier than I could make myself. We're making accelerated progress but we are not there yet.
The company that runs itself while I own it is still a vision, not a status report.
However, a couple of months ago it seemed hard to believe. Today it's just a question of when.
Curious who else is chasing the same thing.
If that's you, reach out.
