I've never been so excited for a conference as I am for #SNO2023 ! 4 years ago at this time I was bedside with my father as he battled a glioblastoma. I was his healthcare power of attorney and making all of his medical decisions. Now I'm working alongside scientists and clinicians to design better treatments for patients. There is no deeper pull than my gravitation to provide patients, care partners and clinicians better outcomes. Areas I'll be keen to discuss: -LITT Optimization: Can we turn down the heat? (@Medtronic @MonterisMed) -HIFU: Who has data & expertise with temperature diffusion from HiFu in brain tumors? Can we achieve 42°C in the infiltrated tumor margins? -Neurosurgery Analytics: Who is leveraging their institutional data to guide optimizations in clinic? -Canine Trial Translation: Best practices for leading a canine trial for seamless transition into a Phase I I'll update this list as we get closer.
