Product designer in Tashkent.
Hello, fellows! If you don’t mind, I’d love to introduce myself today. I’m Jamshidbek (you can call me Jamik:) ), a Product Designer based in Tashkent. My journey started back in 2016 with a small front-end experience (yes, the days of turning 1.5GB PSD designs into HTML/CSS with a bit of JQuery magic). Two years in, I fully transitioned into UI design. Things got serious when I read Refactoring UI by Adam Wathan & Steve Schoger — it completely changed how I approached design. Not long after, I started freelancing and had the chance to collaborate with some incredible founders. Currently, I’m a Product Designer at GovDash, a New York-based company with an amazing and talented team. Outside of work, I enjoy quiet walks, being close to nature, and, honestly, I’d pick a cabin in the woods over city life any day. There’s something about the stillness of nature that just resets my mind. If you’ve read this far — kudos! I truly appreciate it. Drop a comment, let’s connect! I’d love to see what you’re working on. Cheers!
