Sometimes last year, when the crypto market was down bad, my graphic design skill saved me _____________________ The crypto market was down bad. I was down bad too. I didn't have funds to trading TBH, I was even confused But one thing that saved me at that point was my graphic design skill. I landed a gig that sustained me for a while, thanks to an old client I had worked with for over three years. He got to know me from Facebook as far back as 2021 when I was still very much into graphic designing and putting myself out there This experience taught me the power of building a brand. And it's not just that only My first $1,000 writing gig in crypto also came from building in public - I didn't even apply; I was reached out to. It's not just about getting gigs; it's about building connections and opportunities. People need to see what you're capable of to trust and believe in you. I've seen many people hide behind "I'm shy" or "I'm an introvert". And trust me, I totally get it, Naturally, 'm an introvert too, I never even really liked talking to people I never loved crowd I always wanted to be by myself So I can relate But I got to realise early that opportunities don't come from silence; they come from conversations, DMs, and showing people your value. People need to see what you can do Building a brand in public means opportunities will find you. Also, when you build in public, you connect with like-minded people, and valuable connections follow. It's easier for people of like minds to reach out and connect when they see your value. Most of the high-value connections I have in this space are a result of building in public. I've found it hard to connect with people easily, but building a brand made it easier. So this is me imploring you not to be a silent expert. Put yourself out there, let people know what you do, and show them your capabilities. Let people know your value, and trust me, you'll see the difference it makes. #TheQuietHourCurriculum Ep 68 . .
