Going from $0 -> $2k MRR in two days made an impression on me #buildinpublic I was the technical co-founder at our b2b SaaS startup. So when I started something new, I fell back on tech. Turns out: Most startups are actually pretty good at tech in-house (as they should). So were we (if I do say so myself 😅) We never hired anyone technical help – I did everything myself. But, after a few years I started to appreciate the distribution side of startups. Sales and marketing are actually as important as product for growth. So last year, I... 🫶 Created a LinkedIn community of 1,000+ HR professionals (our target market) 📣 Hosted 10+ events on LinkedIn with 4,000+ attendees 🤝 Hosted a Zoom networking event for HR professionals where 130+ showed up ❤️ Got 2,000+ new followers and connections on LinkedIn from our target market After sharing how I did this with some founder friends, I started to get requests. And last week, I decided to make this into a productized service. "https://t.co/Ph6Jp2oMGR for b2b marketing" $2k MRR in two days, inbound demo bookings and DMs seemed to confirm. This is something startups and agencies want help with. I'm super excited to see where it can go from here. Some quick shoutouts: A huge thank you to @aliszu and @MrNick_Buzz for inspring so many of us and for doing everything they can to help us win too 🙏 Big love to the @morningmakersho community and @TakoTreba & @d4m1n for creating it ❤️ Firm handshake (I'm not sure he's into hugs) to @DanKulkov for showing that productized service => SaaS is a better journey for most of us than jumping into the deep end day 1. If you're interested in working together on your marketing, I'd love to hear from you 🙏 DM's open and brand new landing page: https://t.co/XT3b2jDazA PS. Did Kendrick kill this meme too, or just Drake's career?
