Founder in United States.

The concept of being a Surrendered Founder has been my fascination for the past few years. It’s been the perfect intersection of the two areas I’ve been exploring - surrendered spiritual stillness AND fully activated founder momentum of building things. Apart from Michael Singer’s Surrender Experiment book, I haven’t seen examples where others talk about active participation with building a business but from a surrendered, non-attached-to-outcomes state. Even that, I’ve seen the Untethered Soul book shared at top entrepreneurial masterminds (Tony Robbins and others) but only as a nice concept to discuss, and then let’s put it down and back to forcing momentum and change. Similarly most spiritual surrender-based groups and discussions move a bit too far for my founder-mind into laisser-faire, que sera, sera - just completely let go of any striving and ambitious goals. I’m bringing through the experience where the two intersect - from a place of surrender that allows for complete satisfaction of stillness of the moment, AND a fully active, work 16 hours a day, founder mode building and creating when the energy of the moment flows that way - but without the pressure and agitation that typically accompanies founders striving to succeed… aka bring about expected results. I’m seeing signs this category of founders who still have ambition but are no longer interested in the hustle culture of Y Combinator startups looking for a new way to still deliver but from a different place - what I call a Surrendered Founder - is growing. If that’s you, let’s connect 🌱✨
