Community builder in New York.
I moved to NYC a few years ago with aspirations to start a company but had few founder friends from my previous life to lean on in the early days. I started hosting founder events as a way to meet more like-minded individuals who could relate to the same daily challenges I was facing. This evolved into a deep passion because I realized how many other founders felt similarly to me in terms of losing relatability with those closest to them in a professional context because being a founder is just... different. Fast forward to today, alongside @Cyrus845 and @adhoc97, we have hosted 50+ founder events with over 700+ founders across NYC with the sole goal of curating the types of people we want to spend more time around and creating a space to facilitate connections amongst the group. But let鈥檚 be honest, founders can only attend so many dinners and happy hours before they get bored of the repetition. So... I wanted to change it up. We are hosting a founder comedy night at the famous @ComedyCellarUSA alongside software founder and comedian Jon Laster. I can鈥檛 imagine you have anything better to do at 5 pm on Sunday than comedy with fellow founders so I expect to see you there! Oh, and one more thing, if you're an aspiring comic, we may or may not be letting a founder or two rip some jokes on the most famous stage in the world! The RSVP link is in the comments! 馃殌
