I’ve started a new position leading growth at @lastdotnet. Last is a revenue positive L2 that redirects powerful chain profits back to the community. It's got everything I love about crypto, permissionlessness, decentralization, sovereign wealth creation and ownership, and a punk ethos. Plus it fixes glaring problems I've seen in crypto for years. The founders @androolloyd & (secret badass) pitched me on an amazing mechanism design, vision, and principles that matched me perfectly. And they did more than just pitch an idea. The PoC came together and got support from some pretty insane backers and the talent on this team is s-tier (and hungry af). I am very VERY impressed with the quality of the support and commitment to long term building that LASTS. A bit about the tech: Last uses a twinchain model with a secure, decentralized vault chain and a highly performant EVM execution layer so the chain is fast and cheap (mostly free) to use. (henlo @arbitrum nice nitro u have there mind if i sniff it? ohai @CelestiaOrg nice DA you have there mind if i name a potted plant after it?) Most important to me, the model is the basis for a system of highly competitive, long-term sustainable, and community-governed incentives. More on this later because there's some secret sauce here, but find me 1:1 and I'll 🤯🫵 Oh it's also multi-chain DeFi, so bring your Bitcoin #BTC, Ethereum $ETH, stablecoins, and more (RWAs maybe? 👉👈). HOW YOU MIGHT USE LAST: -Use your assets while they generate yield, and get paid to vote where the incentives go. -Builders can use the chain-owned incentives to reward early users before they have a token (launch a token when you want to, not when you run out of bootstrapping), or you can supercharge token rewards, vastly extend your existing token emissions, or just skip token and use your revenue to incentivize people with the Last chain cashflow -NFT, DAO, Gaming, or Public Goods projects can earn revenue on idle treasury I'm looking for: 1) Partners.
