Building "High Stakes Human Skills" in Public: 3 Weeks In Just hit the 3-week mark on my "100 Days, 100 Articles" challenge for High Stakes Human Skills! 📈 The raw numbers so far: • 15 articles published (15% complete!) • 20 active subscribers (from zero!) • 53.8% open rate • 4.35% click-through rate • €12.40 total revenue (€10 from founder subscribers + €2.40 in ad revenue) Is it worth it? ABSOLUTELY. While I'm only covering about 25% of my monthly Beehiiv subscription costs right now, the growth trajectory is what matters. Look at that subscriber graph - from zero to 20 in just weeks, with most growth happening mid-journey! Protip is also to join the Slack community offered for the scale customers of beehiiv. What makes this content different? Every article combines: • Rigorous research from credible sources (HBR, psychology journals, industry studies) • My own empirical experience applying these skills throughout my career • Practical, actionable takeaways you can implement immediately The first articles in my foundational series are building momentum, and I'm documenting the entire journey from zero to what will eventually become multiple digital products: • 1 core eBook (from the first 20 articles) • Multiple skill-specific guides • The complete "High Stakes Human Skills Bible" Every weekday, another deep-dive on communication, emotional intelligence, leadership, or productivity drops. No fluff, just career-accelerating skills that blend academic research with real-world application. Building in public isn't just about sharing wins - it's about transparency in the entire growth process. The financial investment now is planting seeds for long-term monetization through memberships, affiliate links, and eventual digital products.
