I scaled a 103-person company into teams across three cities by 23.... I haven't seen my laptop in over a month. When I started StreetTalk, I didn't have an office. I had a park. I signed my first clients from a park bench with a phone and a mic, with no deck or setup. I'd walk up to strangers, hand them a product from the brand, and film their reactions right there. Today we ship over 1K ads a month for brands like Gruns, Ridge, and PrizePicks, and I still run my whole side from my phone. I meet founders all the time who tell me they're always on, glued to a screen at midnight. I used to think that was the job. Then I noticed the things that actually grew my company never happened on a computer. They happened on a street, on a call, face-to-face with a real person. A laptop is where you go to feel productive. The street is where you go to actually be. You can look busy on a screen all day and put nothing into the world. The work that built this company happened in person, not behind a desk. So my phone became the only tool I carry. A park, a sidewalk, the back of an Uber. There's nowhere I can't run it from. Everyone assumes scaling means a bigger setup, more tools, more screens between you and the work. For me, it's been the reverse. The simpler I keep my own setup, the sharper I am at the most important thing I do for this company. Turns out that all fits in one hand.
