Is this you, thouny?

Happy #Suiversary to all 🥳 It's been just 1 year since Sui mainnet was launched, and what a year! When mainnet launched, I was working on a project ("Halcyon" for the OGs) that aimed to be the FFF of Sui. Unfortunately my team and I were not experimented enough and I had a full-time job while travelling around South-East Asia so we were unable to deliver anything more than a beautiful landing page and a fun on-chain whitelisting dapp on testnet. In the weeks following mainnet launch we saw most of the projects building on Sui testnet quit due to various reasons. But it was ok because they were mostly terrible NFT projects, launchpads, nft marketplaces and stuff. I still remember the days when Fuddies launched on Clutchy which basically terminated the little hype we had in NFTs. There was nothing left to do. For the next few months I focused on my job which was oriented on EVM-chains and MultiversX, while still playing around on Sui until... ... the LST Hackathon was announced. I remember witnessing huge interest resulting in increased activity on socials. I saw this as an excellent opportunity to start a new project in an area that I had very little knowledge about. I started alone, building in public on Twitter for educational purposes. This is when Jose and Interest Protocol team proposed me to join them to build the LST protocol. We could meet at the Singapore Builder House (my 2nd one after Ho Chi Minh) and we finally reached the 4th position among 349 teams in the hackathon. I think this event really kickstarted things for me and the ecosystem as a whole. We can see an accelerated growth in on-chain users and TVL from this point. Because of the disappointment of losing, I started exploring other ecosystems to get involved in the most promising ones. Radix, Solana, Aptos, Sei, MultiversX, etc but I always came back to Sui, because it had everything I was looking for: passionate community, talented builders, solid founders, amazing tech and crazy growth. These last months, I had the opportunity to work with many terrific teams and builders and I can't wait to show you everything that is in the works. For me it's been more than 20 months since I've joined the Suinami and this is likely the best decision I took since I've joined Web3. Excited to see what happens next!
